“HOW DO YOU BRING CHANGE TO A CHANGELESS LAND?”-Maria Ressa (via twitter)

LOL haha.)
But seriously, we have to make a major educational reform here in Pinas. Let the “BRIGHTER” people educate EVERYONE. Well, yes, we NEED a lot of money to do this.
But unfortunately, there are only a few “bright” people who are willing to teach.
Just like what I have learned earlier this week (and it really broke my heart. srsly), one of my favorite high school history teachers resigned. He was one of the best, most dedicated teacher I have ever known. Late last summer, he took up a call center job instead of continuing this school year. This isn’t bad. I have nothing against that decision. But it saddens me, still. Most people leave their PASSION for money, leave ART for money.
The only sad part there is that the money you can earn from being a teacher isn’t enough. Ang puhunan lang ay dedikasyon, passion to teach and to educate the youth. Pero kapos pa rin kahit anong gawin.
Kaya saludo ako sa mga teachers ko at sa mga teachers sa buong bansa - teachers and professors who are more than willing to earn so little and give us, students, everything in return.
Kaya masarap makipag-rakenrol sa mga teachers.
